Always have a plan B!

I met up with Marva in London where we had planned to do a football shoot on a playing pitch . The local council, however, had other ideas and had fenced off the grass so that it could be torn up (and hopefully relaid).

This led us on a walk around looking for another option. We found one park but between the layout and other users (it was a warm, sunny day filled with families) I couldn’t get the images I had planned.

We went on another walk around where I spotted the blue wall above, which I thought could be a good background to match Marva’s retro Everton shirt, so we stayed here for a while for some portraits. After a while I noticed this blue wall was part of a really cool looking laundrette. Marva used her considerable charm to ask the owner if we could take a few shots inside and the results are above.
